Xbox Avatars Delayed Till Next Year

Not too long ago Microsoft announced an update that would be hitting the Xbox Avatars, which originally debuted on the Xbox 360. Originally the update was slated to launch with the Fall Creator’s Update, which just came out. Now it seems like we will have to wait a bit longer. Recently on Twitter a user asked Mike Ybarra, Corporate Vice President for Xbox and Windows Gaming, about the avatars and he had this to say:
Many, including myself, have been waiting for a update to the avatars featured on our profiles. Personally I am excited about the inclusion of legit beards to put on our avatar. Below is the original announcement from Microsoft.

Aw, i was showing my avatar to my friend like a week ago randomly because i had some fun gun... so i went in and showed him how some old games used to unlock items, and he later ran into a game that gave him something. His randomly generated an old dude so he just keeps it for fun, but i could see if there were an update where they weren't hidden he might actually update his lol.

I think it is highly underutilized. Hoping that it launches sooner than later. The games with them in it were fun IMO.
