GameStop Selling Initial Xbox One X Shipments Fast

The Xbox One X launched earlier this week and it is selling quite well. According to Bob Puzon, GameStop SVP of merchandising it is selling incredibly well and they are almost through the first shipment of the consoles. Here is what he had to say:
“Sales of the new Xbox One X have been incredible! We have sold through most of our initial allotment in just one day. We are already working with Microsoft to get our hands on more of the world's most powerful video game console!”
What are your thoughts on the Xbox One X? Have you already gotten one? Or do you plan on getting one?

Few things annoy me more than the "World's Most Powerful Video Game Console"

It just came out, it has no games bundled, it's $100 more than anything else, it isn't 100% true depending on your definition of a "console" and that is its only selling point for the next year and a half.

The fact that they have to state it's the most powerful console in the world (again depending on your definition) shows that they think their target audience are morons. Imagine if Sony was like "PSVR it's the world's best console VR solution ever!"

That would piss me off. Yeah as opposed to what? The virtual boy? Something else no one has ever heard of? The stupid little thing you put on your head for Yoshi's Cookie I think on the SNES?

That’s the thing though, it’s all marketing. When PS4 Pro came out people were all about it. I have the Xbox One X, and it’s damn good. Everything literally runs better on it, and I haven’t even had the chance to fully install some of the 4K assets for the games that are Xbox One X Enhanced. Planning on doing that this upcoming weekend hopefully.

I'm sure there are some games where the framerate is locked and, the bus speed had to have been dramatically increased. I know originally when the Xbox One was released it was faster to play games off a hard drive than to play them on the internal storage. So yeah... Their bus speed for their hard drives were crap because they weren't intending on having people install SSDs and stuff. All the extra power, resources, bus speeds, I'm sure your quality of life on the system has dramatically improved in almost everything but maybe like 100MB indie games that aren't Minecraft lol.
